summary: Post HBP. Hermione finds herself bound by an insane spell which makes her go searching for Severus in her 7th year. They establish a relationship and face the Final Battle. It is a rather dark story but it has a happy ending. The story contains 13 chapters of 2500-3000 words each, and it is told strictly from Hermione's POV.

Chapter titles and summaries:
1.A Memory buried deep within
When Hermione acts the role of the detective on Harry's request and searches Severus Snape's deserted office, she discovers that deep inside her unconsciousness, there lurks a repressed memory which is closely connected to her former Potions teacher.
2.A Secret is being unveiled
Hermione finds out that the repressed memory had made her fall under an insane spell, and that she needs Severus Snape to lift it.
3.A Christmas Surprise of a different Kind
Hermione is caught nosing around in a deserted house at Spinner's End.
4.A restless Night and an alarming Morning
Hermione is interrogated by Severus Snape, but the house in which she is held hostage, is attacked.
5.On the Road with Severus
Hermione finds herself being on the run with Severus Snape, but can she trust him?
6.A safe Place to stay at
An exhausting journey brings Hermione back to the place where she started from.
7.The Spell is lifted
Hermione receives a note from Severus. When she meets him and tells him about the spell, his reaction to her confession takes her by surprise.
8.A bad Way to start a Romance
Hermione and Severus have a bad start, but Hermione is able to sort it out.
9.Saturday Evening spent in Front of the Fireplace
Hermione spends another evening with Severus.
10.Once a Death Eater, always a Death Eater...?
Severus reveals a very dark side of his character.
11.Love and War, Part one
Hermione and Severus break up.
12.Love and War, Part two
The evening before the Final Battle finds Hermione and Severus together again.
13.The End of the Road
During the Final Battle, Severus receives a fatal injury.
Epilogue
Six years later... |

I have never beta'd, but I've read most everything out there, and am good with grammer, puntuation, canon, etc. I'd love to look at your fic. In fact, I have my own first one in process. Maybe we could trade?
