Hi everyone,
My name is shalimar1981, my e-mail is: shalimar1981@arcor.de and I need a beta for two fics. Both are WIPs, one is a three part story and the other is of yet undefinable length.
The shorter one is still untitled and very dark.
In it Hermione comes back to school for her seventh year and after a horrible event during the summer holidays she tries to prep herself for her first lesson - Potions. She has a panic attack and flees. But she hasn't counted on Snape following her to find out what's going on.
This story deals with the after-effects of rape. The rape has nothing to do with the war or Snape and will not be described in any way. Not even the word itself will be mentioned, but it is clear that's what happened to her.
The fic is about halfway done and will be a sort of friendship between HG/SS in the end.
rating: R to NC-17 to be safe for subject matter, although no details are mentioned

Warnings: rape/abuse (not detailed), not HPB compliant or at least DD is alive in this one

Before you start in on me, I wanted to post it on Ashwinder, but being a new writer I have to wait until the Mage is up. Ash was actually the first archive I tried to submit. ^.^
Summary: After the events in the Department of Mysteries, Hermione finds it hard to cope and receives help from someone unexpected. When a friendship of a sort develops, will it survive the events of the Lightning-Struck Tower? Will an ancient ritual help the Light win the war or will it destroy everything? An HG/SS romance. About the non-con warning: Nothing detailed and not between Hermione and Snape.

I need a beta for the shorter untitled one and a second beta for "Wicked Game" since my last one went AWOL.
I have some trouble with punctuation and sometimes also with characterisation and plot. I'm also not a native speaker. Some brit-picking would be appreciated, but not absolutely necessary. Someone also willing to encourage my more elusive fluffy plot-bunnies would be greatly appreciated considering the darker nature of the shorter fic.
In short I want a beta-goddess! (just kidding 
I'm a first-time poster and would like to improve as a writer so I'd love to receive comprehensive constructive criticism (say that three times fast!  ).
