True. I was an education major and held on to most of the books as well as my biology, animal physiology, and environmental studies texts from some recent classes.
I've made and tried pumpkin beer which is actually really tasty. Pumpkin bread drenched with rum butter is on my list of things to make. I once carved a ghost on a pumpkin. Not sure when, but it was definitely before I had kids.
The person below me keeps unusual things in the trunk of the car. Right now I have some horse shoes, and I don't even have a horse. 
Pumpkin Pie for those of us who can't make a decent pie crust!
You need:
* 1 7-pound-pumpkin
* 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
* 6 eggs
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 2 cups whipping cream
* 1/4 teaspoon ginger
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1 tablespoon maple syrup
* 2 table spoons butter
Cut the lid of the pumpkin (save it). Clean out fibers and seeds. Mix all ingredients together exept butter: pour into pumpkin. The custard will expand while baking so do not fill to the top. Top the mixture with butter. Cover with pumpkin lid, using wood toothpicks to keep lid from falling into custard as it bakes. Bake at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until mixture inside pumpkins has set like custard. If mixture has not set after 1 hour, try removing the lid for the last 30 minutes of baking.
Serve from the pumpkin, scraping some meat from the pumpkin sides With each serving. Serves 8. |

True. I don't know that many other people who keep a cat carrier in the car trunk. One of my cats likes it when I take him out for walks (I have a harness and leash for him and he seems to put up with them pretty well), and all the better if he gets to go "exploring" somewhere else sometimes! He won't get into the carrier unless he's already outdoors, though, so I decided it would just be easier to keep it in the car.
I've still got all of my university textbooks except for one, which I had to borrow from a friend who'd already taken the course; the bookstore was unfortunately sold out by the time I could've bought it, and the manager flatly refused to order more for the five or so of us who didn't get one. That's one of the drawbacks of attending a smaller university, I suppose.

False, as of yet. I just haven't had the chance to read them. I'm sure that at some point, I will fall in love with the series. 
As for books, I'm an art major (and I took a lot of english classes) so I have lots of art books. And of course, I jealously hoarded my HP Lit books. In fact, none of my english books have been sold. But I took kooky english classes ... Harry Potter, Women in Lit (not kooky, but lots of good books), Horror Terror and Violence in Lit and Film (yay!) and not an english class, but very awesome indeed was Social Construction of Serial Murder.
When I took the class, I lived in Kansas, and it was right after BTK was caught / confessed. Very interesting.

I'm thinking of a vampire this year. I don't normally, but I think I'd like to this year.
We always carve pumpkins. I've carved ghosts, witches, and 'trick or treat.'
I entered a pumkin carving contest my freshman year in college. My intro to architecture class put it on. I didn't win, though. That was fortunate, since the prize was a toilet brush (I don't ask).

Formerly true, currently false. In college, and when we had a studio apartment, I always made the bed. Something about being in the room with it.... but now that we actually have *gasp* a separate bedroom, I'm more lax about it. I still make it if anyone is coming over, even if I don't think they're going to see the bedroom.
The person below me likes quiche. (and therefore isn't a real programmer.... bonus points if you get that reference....) |

I love quiche. Even my kids love quiche. My favorite quiche recipe includes six eggs, one pound of shredded cheese, a drained can of spinach, and a can of cream of potato soup (that's the secret ingredient). If you are trying to get your kids to eat spinach, this is the way to go.
I try to make my bed every day, but it doesn't always happen.
I do still dress up for Halloween, but I don't make the effort for it that I used to.
And I am a fan of Discworld!
In 1976, when I was a kid, I made a George Washington pumpkin for the school pumpkin contest and got first place! I think that's the only time I ever won a pumpkin-carving prize. I usually do very basic pumpkins.
The person below me still has an article of clothing they wore as a child tucked away somewhere because they couldn't bear to part with it. (I have several in my cedar chest, including a dress I wore in kindergarten, a crocheted poncho and hat, and a bathrobe my grandma made for me.)

Sadly false; I didn't have that option. Every time I outgrew something or wore it out, it was (depending on its state of repair) either given away or cut up for dustcloths. I lost a lot of nice "everyday" dresses (as opposed to the frilly pink nightmares that I hated even as a kid) that way.
There were several years when I didn't bother to dress up for Halloween, but last year I went to a costume party with some friends. I didn't have much warning, so I ended up throwing together a witch costume with wings (black, of course). This year, at least my costume will be premeditated; my pipe band is doing a Halloween thing and our pipe major has told us that nobody is to dress in our band uniforms. We're all supposed to dress up as something Scottish. I was thinking of going as someone out of Celtic mythology, but unfortunately most of the figures I have a decent knowledge of are Irish or Welsh.
I've never tasted quiche, so I have no idea whether I like it or not.
The person below me has gone to great lengths to make or put together a costume they didn't even end up wearing. |

True. I once spent about 6 hours making this HUGE tomato costume out of papier maché and paint and cardboard, for a Comic Relief charity event.
Then I got mumps  which is a hideous illness.
I was gutted. The costume rocked. And I was only like, 9 years old.
*sniff* still traumatised.
Ah well, on with life - and the game

Sometimes. I tend not to be, but on some occassions an hour or two after an event, etc. that I was supposed to be at, I'll have one of those slap yourself on the forehead moments.

True. Although I do have a single-ear headset/mike combo so that, if necessary, I can talk on my phone or cellphone with my hands free. The days of phone handsets that could be propped between the ear and the shoulder are gone, and I miss them. I need two hands for too many things, and having to hold a phone up to my ear just cripples me. Fortunately, I don't spend too much time on the phone (since, as I said, I do hate headphones), but it's nice to have a hands-free alternative.
Anyone who has fibro has "absent-minded" as their middle name. 
The person below me *doesn't* play a band instrument. (My kids do; my hubby did; I only play piano and guitar, both badly.)

Unfortunately, and sadly, that's true. It's a problem. I just don't think about going to the dentist unless something hurts.
I played clarinet and sax (tenor) all through junior high and high school, too. I tried trumpet, but was atrotious beyond belief.
