I'm not so much responsible for paying the bills, as reminding my husband what's actually due and when. I do balance the checkbook... when I get around to it...

As an architect, I crash computers at an alarming rate; both mine, and others. But that's mostly because I tend to use draining programs (AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, PhotoShop, etc.) for very long periods of time.

I crashed my parents' car when I was 18 (head-on, but actually walked away; no one knows how or why), rolled my own on its side when I was 20, and backed another one (my current car) into some concrete thingy (minimal damage on one side). So, yeah, I think I've crashed a car.

The person below me still needs to do their sping cleaning, despite the fact that it's practically autumn now.

True. Actually, I have about 5 years worth of spring cleaning to do--mostly in the form of cleaning out closets and cabinets. Embarassed

My movie and book list is very long--thanks to Verity's suggestions.

The person below me has a favorite fic that hasn't been updated for ages.
No pressure anyone! Laughing

TRUE!!!!!
*checks Last Tango in Paris*
*sighs*
*contemplates rereading the trilogy yet again*
*encourages everyone to read the trilogy*

The person below me has procrastinated schoolwork or work-work by beta reading a fic for someone.

True! It hasn't been updated since 2004! Or it might have been 2003.

I started to read it because I thought it was Snape/Hermione, but it wasn't. Snape and Hermione had both significant parts of the story, but it wasn't that pairing but it was still damn good the creativity in it that I just kept reading it...

I miss it...

Okay, the person below me has fuzzy little animals on top of their monitor staying at them.

(I have bunny and teddy bear. Very small ones... the bunny is from a wash cloth and the teddy bear is holding a C from the Ty beanie babies.)

True on the fic. Neither Man Nor Beast by Razzberry over on Wolfsbane.

False on the beta reading. I haven't done that.

False on the furry critters. I do have a binary clock though.

The person below me drinks too much coffee.

Ugh, can't stand the stuff. However, I am a caffiene addict, usually in the form of Coke. I've tried cutting back, really! It's just that if I actually drink half my weight in ounced of water, I'll float away (and spend half the day in the bathroom!).

I have a fic that has been sitting stagnant for quite a while because I've had writer's block, but I've not posted it here. I have one at SugarQuill that I stopped because it was written before a date was given for how old Tonks is and now it completely ruins the story and they're so damn picky about dates.... Gods, I wish I could write.

I have a Pooh bear, Pooky, a stuffed dog, two stuffed Gund bears, a stuffed sea horse and two Chick-fil-a cows on my desk that are staring at me right now. Four are on my speakers.

Procrastinated the hell outta work to beta. I have five people I'm betaing for at PI and I'd prefer to do that than busy work. I just wish those kids were a bit more prolific with their writing, though. Anyone else need a beta?

The person below me is incredibly excited about Mage and is ready to see it in action! (*coughMetamusebettergetbusycough* Wink )

False. While I don't drink coffee, I do love the smell of it. I will drink frapacchinoes (sp?), though.

The only fuzzy thing staring at me is my cat. I think she likes the warmth (I have an old monitor).

The person below me doesn't eat breakfast.

True, unless we go out to eat. Coffee? That's a food group unto itself.

I have a laptop so nothing is sitting on my monitor. I do have Dory, Nemo and Bruce plush toys on my desk--my youngest daughter left them there.

Skip real work to beta read? You bet your sweet bippy I do. I beta read for three people and every now and then someone asks me just to check something. Life is good!

The person below me has a picture/poster of an actor/actress. Alan Rickman is hanging over my desk thanks to my beta, Verity.

False. I used to have a tonne of them but something happened while I was moving and well, my posters are no more.

I have an orange butterfly stuck to the edge of my moniter and a porcelain orange dog and green sheep sitting on my hard drive.

Mmm, coffee. *Toddles off to get some.*

There's something called breakfast!?

The person below me is/once was vegetarian.

False. I have never even felt the impulse. Admittedly, I eat less meat than most people, but I still eat it.

I tend not to eat breakfast...at least not until several hours after I wake up. My stomach doesn't like *anything* first thing in the morning. I even put off taking my meds until I've been up for at least half an hour, because even water seems an evil thing when I first wake up.

I don't usually procrastinate real work by beta-ing, but I sure do procrastinate writing!

The person below me thinks lingerie is silly, because you don't get to wear it for very long!

Sadly, I do think it's silly, but I can't stop buying it... I'm a girl...

I procrastinate all the time, real work or not. It's a problem.

No, I'm not and have never been a vegetarian, but I do eat less meat than most. I had a friend that was for a while.

The person below me hates shrimp (I absolutely adore it, so it's not me...).

False. I've been known to add shrimp to chicken soup when I make it from scratch.

I do eat breakfast, but not generally until about 10:00 or even 11:00 AM although I habitually wake up at six. The only exception is when I'm travelling, because food may not be possible when I'm actually hungry.

There are no stuffed animals on top of my monitor (largely because I'm using a laptop), but there are three cats curled up in various places behind me.

The person below me doesn't like to dance.

False. I love dancing, but my fiance doesn't. I'm doomed to a danceless marriage! What's more, I'm sure that all that will be allowed at our future reception will be ridiculous metal music. Rolling Eyes

I don't have stuffed animals on my monitor, but I have figures of the South Park boys!

And I try to make myself eat breakfast everyday.

The person below me has suffered through a ridiculous/stupid/meaningless class because it was required for graduation/degree/certification. If so, what, and tell us why it was so replusive. Smile

Ugh, yes! I had to take an economics even though I was an education major. It was the worst class because of the professor. He made Snape look like a nice guy.

Pigwig is your fiance related to my husband by any chance? Laughing Mine hates to dance--mostly because he looks like he's having a seizure or something--too.

Lingerie is one of my few splurges now that I can find stuff in my size.

The person below me buys flowers for herself.

False. I can't stand the chemicals that florists use; it's not that I'm allergic to them, just that I can't stand the smell. It's too dead.

The most absolutely pointless class I've ever taken was in my year of teacher's college. We had to attend a 1-hour seminar every Friday, and the lesson was always centred around the same concept: 70% of high school students don't go to university, so we should make sure that they know about the other options that they have following graduation, such as college, the army and apprenticeships.

(Just to clear up a bit of confusion: I'm not sure about other Canadian provinces, but in Ontario the colleges do the vocational training and the universities do the more academic stuff. I know there are places where this distinction isn't made.)

The person below me paints their nails. (I do; my favourite nail polish changes colour under different lights from green to blue to a sort of black opal look.)
