Mostly false. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, so the alarm (radio, NOT buzzer) has been waking me up. When I'm good on sleep, though, I tend to wake up before the alarm goes off.

And I do ship SS/HG, although I have a definite preference for post-Hogwarts stories where they're both adults. Twenty year age difference doesn't bother me so much when the two people involved are 25-45...

The person below me is familiar with The Spoon Theory, and would know what I meant if I said today was a bad day because I had very few spoons.

YES! I have fibromyalgia, and I know all about spoons. In fact, I spent most of the day today sleeping, trying to replenish my sadly low supply.

I confess I really like HG/SS, and not just when they're older. But then, when I was a teenager, I always had a crush on old actors, not the cute young ones. Heaven only knows how I married a guy the same age as me.

The person below me still doesn't have a cell phone. (I do, now, but it seems like everyone else had one before I did.)

False. I've had one for 3 years, and now it's my primary phone line. When my finacee and I moved, we decided to forego the landline. Just so much easier.

Actually, it was a friend of mine with FM who introduced me to the spoon theory. I've got chronic knee issues and what my mother calls a "low initial spoon count" (i.e. it just takes me more energy to function in this world than it does for a lot of people).

For those who are completely confused right now, go read about The Spoon Theory. Please. Especially if you or someone you know have a chronic illness/pain of any kind. Which is probably nearly all of you - it's far more common than people think. Although it was originally written about lupus, it is easily applied to almost any chronic condition.

It's mostly true. I love the cooking part, but hate the cleaning up after the cooking part. So, the cooking is actually overshadowed by my dread.

I do have a couple of pieced of original artwork on the wall; mine. I watercolor.

I have no idea what the Spoon Theory is, but will read up on it ASAP. And I do love SS/HG. I don't know why. I thought it was sick the first time I heard about it, and the first one about them I read was Hinge of Fate, so you can probably guess how that went.

I was actually one of the first of my friends to have a cell phone, but I now share one with my husband, and rarely use it at all.

The person below me rarely actually uses Emoticons.

False. I like to think that I use them in moderation, but the truth is that I use them more than most other people I know. I suppose it's just my way of trying to make sure that I don't confuse people or inadvertently insult them.

I do have a piece of framed original art hanging on one of my walls; it's a painting (acrylic, I think) done by a friend of mine who's a very talented artist.

The person below me has written words for a song and then set them to music (or even done it the other way around).

Um... no. I'm not a lyricist. I have written music, however. *musician*

I'm not a HG/SS fan. Student/Teacher is not a favorite. It is nice to know I'm not alone around here, though.

I've had a cell for probably 5 years or more. We gave up the landline too, finding it much easier to use the cell phone. Besides, Roadrunner is pretty damn fast. Laughing

I can wake up without an alarm clock, however, the alarm tells me what time it is and reminds me that I need to go ahead and get up.

Oh, and I'm not allowed in the kitchen. I love being married to a man who cooks. Very Happy

Also, I own four ferrets currently (I've had upwards of 7 at a time). Does that count as an unusual pet?

Umm... yeah... well... I'm going to go with false for this one. We now can be a little more certan that Remus isn't gay--although maybe not a 100%. Odd isn't how Sirius be came the Animagus most anatomically compatible with a werewolf. Shocked

Cooking=good; clean up=bad. Right there with you, HP4freek!

Velvet mouse, I love your new avatar. Very nice.

The person below me has intentionally eaten an insect.

Yuck! No, never.

The only slash relationship that ever made sense to me was Remus/Sirius, but now that Remus is with Tonks, we know that he at least must be bi-. I could see that. Or at least it's likely Sirius had a thing for Remus. It seems odd that James' best friend wouldn't have girls gathered thick around him.

I've written lyrics and music to exactly one song--a Shannara filksong. And I made up lyrics to another song, about the novel my best friend wrote when we were teenagers.

I agree: cooking=good/cleaning=bad.

And I also like VelvetMouse's new avatar. Smile

The person below me has failed more than one course in college.

False. I never outright failed any... I dropped one before that could happen, and I got a D in another, but never failed any.

And I'm glad my avatar is approved of. Laughing

The person below me has a thing for cupcakes.

Mmmm... cupcakes... Well, maybe. It's just that I don't really like sweets (I'm a salty-kind-of-girl), and so cupcakes offers a great balance (especially the itty-bitty ones), where I get enough sweet stuff to fill a craving, but not enough to make me sick. So, yeah, I think I do have a thing for cupcakes!! Mmm... cupcakes...

Anyway, the person below me doesn't understand the point of diet sodas. Question

False. I'm not a huge fan of cake in general.

I read SS/HG but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, I find the concept of Snape going for a student unbelievable.

Eeesh, typing takes forever. Afore mentined ram broke my finger!

On that note: The person below me has broken 2 or more bones. (Last count I've broken 5.)

False to both. I've never broken a bone, although I sprained my ankle in college. And when a regular bottle of soda has upwards of 60 grams of carbohydrates, and a diet soda has nil, a diabetic like me has to take notice of the difference.

The only cupcakes I really love are the Hostess chocolate ones with the little squiggle of white frosting across the top (or a good facsimile, like the Little Debbie ones).

The person below me hopes they keep the name Xena for that dwarf planet out there.

Oh, totally true! And I hope they do name its moon Gabrielle (there's been some talk of it). It's just too funny. Very Happy

Remus/Sirius? *faints*

Remus/Severus, people. Submit to the OTP! Razz Laughing

The person below me thinks that the HP 7 book will be released on the 7th day of the 7th month of 2007.

True. Sad, because one of my friends is getting married that day and wanted me to be there, and you know, I might have to be reading instead. I don't do well in social settings so I'm dreading have to go to the wedding anyway, but I doubt 'I need to read book seven, sorry' is a legitimate excuse. I'll have to come up with something better. Wink

The person below me has heard of and eaten 'Uncrustables'.

Heard of, yes. Eaten, no. Though I must say that they sound rather tasty. I've never liked the bread crusts anyway.

Remus/Severus? Never understood that relationship either. Snape hates the Marauders.

I understand the point of diet drinks, but it's not like I can drink them anyway. I'm allergic to all sugar substitues, and yes, that does include Splenda.

Never broke a bone. *knock on wood*

hp4freak, may I borrow your plot bunny? I seriously need help.

The person below me prefers a jelly/jam flavor other than grape. (blackberry for me. yum!)
