No, I don't collect anything that I don't plan on using.
I was in a church production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. *shudders at memory* I've since learned it's OK to say no.
The closest I ever came to death was when I was stung by a bee in college and had a really nasty reaction to the sting.

False, but my husband sure does.
I collect books--mostly either ones that I re-read frequently, or ones that I would have a lot of trouble laying hands on if I want to read them again (even if I never get around to it!). I also "collect" a certain kind of Melmac, because those are the dishes we use. I don't know why they stopped making plates out of Melmac (except for the cheapy stuff they make character plates for kids out of). Old-fashioned solid Melmac stands up to the punishment that a household with children dishes out. Giving a stoneware or china plate to a child under the age of 6 is *asking* for breakage. *sighs*
I don't mind talking about politics...with like-minded people. Fanatics of either stripe turn me WAAAAAAAAY off. (For the record, I'm a Libertarian, even though I don't smoke pot or own a gun.)
The person below thinks that cicadas must be an alien lifeform. (I can hear some outside right now.)

True. My keys and my cell phone, almost daily. You would think I'd learn to just keep them in my purse, but no, I'm a moron with things like that.
If I have to have peanut butter on bread (opposed to just eating it out of the jar, not that I do that or anything... ), I usually eat it with bananas or marshmallows. Sometimes both. Jelly is so not my thing, unless it's a bagel with strawberry jelly and cream cheese. Yum.

False, though admittedly I use MSN Messenger more frequently than Yahoo since most of my friends use MSN only.

Apparently true. I asked my husband, and he said that I imitate a goat really well. I think I imitate a cat (kitten) well, since my husband comes in the room everytime I say "oww..." thinking there's a cat outside.
The person below me enjoys reading, but not writing fanfiction. |

I'm not sure it will be *mainly* for that, but I certainly look forward to that scene. The actor they've picked for young Snape certainly seems droolable. And think of all the new fan videos that can be created. Especially if Book 7 reveals that there really *was* something to the Snape/Lily ship.
I think I most look forward to the Occlumency lessons in general. In the book, that's the point at which Snape really comes into his own as a character worth believing in, rather than just a character worth watching. I can't wait to see what Alan Rickman makes of it. Since they went and deprived him (and us) of the Dark Mark scene.
The person below me is *still* irritated that we didn't get to see the Dark Mark scene in the GoF movie.

TRUE!!! So true that I took it upon myself to write a fic about it.
Oh yes, those Occlumency lessons will be interesting. The part I want to see is the opening with the Dementor attack. And of course watching my dear little Neville Longbottom finally make some headway with his abilities.
The person below me hopes they won't go into HP overload because Movie 5 and Book 7 come out nearly at the same time. |

So completely true! I'm hoping I can separate them as much as possible. It's going to be hectic, and I'm gonna love every minute...
The person below me hopes neither JKR or anyone else writes a formal sequel to the series (beyond the Epilogue). |

I guess it depends on what you mean by formal. If you mean "published by a publishing company," then true, I don't want to see JKR write more Potterverse novels (I've seen too many times what happens when an author beats their universe into the ground ). And I don't see how anyone else would be officially allowed to write more Potter stories.
However, I *do* hope to see a multiplicity of post-Book 7 fanfics. Knowing that nothing else can be canon-shafted will make things that much more interesting.
I'm afraid I'm not putting a great deal of confidence in the report of Book 7 coming out in July '07. JKR has had delays in her writing before. The necessity of getting this book exactly right may cause more. And it seems counter-productive for the publishing company to stack sales of OotP (in connection with the film) up against sales of Book 7.
The person below me has used aspirin and caffeine to get rid of a headache.

Very true. I'm a caffeine addict, so when I try and be good and not drink a coke, I end up giving myself a headache.
As far as book 7 is concerned, we learned from HBP that JK is working against the publisher's timeline now, so she is going to rush the book in order to get it out by the time they specify. I really wish that the series hadn't become so popular until after she'd finished it. That way she would have had plenty of time to write exactly what she wanted, not how she has. In my opinion, the downfall began after her writer's block in writing GoF.
The person below me hopes the hype for book 7 is not so overwhelming that it makes the book all that more disappointing. |

True. I just hope that I like book seven better than I liked book six. HBP disappointed me greatly. *hides from angry book six lovers*

No but I do love my Harry Potter playing cards! Thery're round!
*feels pathetic* Anyways... The person below me hates it when writers say they are usuing "cannon personalities" when in fact they make a mockery of the poor characters. |

True! I teach English part-time at the local community college.
As for "cannon personalities," if I see that, I can already tell how bad it's going to be, so I don't bother.
The person below me liked M. Night Shyamalan's The Village. (Finally saw that today.)
