True, but I'm not all that worried about it, really. At 23 years of age (24 in about two and a half months) I am definitely of age to buy and consume alcohol, but I've never been inclined to do so. (I can't stand the smell of the drinks in which the compounds which form along with alcohol have not been masked or removed, and I fail to see the point of drinks where said compounds are not present. Alcohol itself, I read, has no taste.) I'm the only person I know who's never been drunk, which sometimes feels a little strange.
What worries me more is the fact that I've never had a boyfriend at an age where many of my friends are getting married and having children, not necessarily in that order. Now that makes me feel like a freak.
(By the way, VelvetMouse, hang in there. I've watched two of my friends plan weddings now and from what they've said, it's as stressful as Hell until the day itself, but it's well worth it in the end.)

False, but I'm sure some dream analysis would be interesting, to say the least. Velvetmouse - I'm so jealous, Ghiradheli is one of my favorite high quality chocolates. I eat plain choclate Haagen Daz when I have an ice cream craving... mmmm... / drool
Pennfana - don't worry, I don't drink much at all either. Probably a good thing because my fiance drinks enough for both of us when we go out.

Sort of true? Last term I kept calling one of my students by another student's name. The problem was that he didn't *look* like any of the Nathans that I know--he looked more like a Shawn. I was horribly embarrassed when it kept happening! 
I don't drink either, but I don't feel at all like a freak because of it. People have so many other better reasons to view me as a freak. :~>
My favorite chocolate (apart from any kind of Lindor) is Hershey's Extra Dark with cranberries and blueberries. Not that I'll say no to milk chocolate. Cadbury Fruit & Nut is another of my favorites, and the best part is that my husband doesn't like raisins, so I don't have to share. I don't care for white chocolate, though. But then, it isn't really chocolate, is it?
The idea of any actor, let alone a barely-grown boy, appearing naked onstage just *doesn't* appeal to me. It seems rather crude, really. And can anyone say "Trying to avoid typecasting"? :~P

False. No more than two at once. Of course, at the time it was two cats, two gerbils, a rabbit and a shetland pony..... 
For what it's worth, I don't drink either. Not for any "real" reason, it's just that I don't like the taste of any alcohol that has ever been put in front of me. And I don't understand the point of getting drunk either, Pennfana, so you're not the only one.

True. I recently lost a job I really enjoyed, and now I'm just kind of trying to figure out what I want to do with myself until I'm old enough to retire for real.
Penfanna, I don't drink often, an ocassional glass of wine, so you aren't as strange as you think.
Verity I constantly call my three girls by each other's name. Well, it will give them something to talk about when there in their 30's and going to therapy.

I'm not sure how *unusual* it is, in a strict sense, but my class ring (when I finally went back and finished college a few years ago--yes, it took me that long to even get a clue of what I wanted to be when I grew up!) was custom made for me, and is not like any other class ring I have ever seen. And I do wear it all the time. You can see it here:

It's near the bottom of the page. I based the wedding rings in my story "A Merciless Affection" on this guy's work in general and on my class ring in particular.
I think that most parents are afflicted with the tendency to mix up their kids' names. In my father-in-law, this extends to the grandkids. I heard him once, when he was trying to address my oldest son, first go down the list of *his* three kids before he finally got the right name. 
The person below me learned to read at a very young age.

True. I 'jammed' my middle finger on my right hand from a rebounding basketball in PE in high school. Sucked to, I rather enjoyed basketball of all the sports we played.

Sadly true. I went with my hubby to Atlantic City, NJ for a convention and took my laptop with me in case I had the urge to write. But, being the twit that I am, I forgot to take the power cable. All of my writing was done longhand in a small notebook I keep in my handbag. The plus--I wrote on the beach and improved my tan.

True. It's not that I object to ships. I just don't get the rabid OTP folks. There are very few pairings that I actively object to - if it's written well, I'm up for just about anything. My own writing tends to genfic, but I read all sorts of ships.

Sort of true? I was a walk-on in a community theater production of Fiddler on the Roof at the end of my senior year in high school. I even missed some of our last drama class activities because of that. But I don't remember whether the play ended first or school ended first. The next year, I was the make-up artist for a production of Arsenic and Old Lace. After that, my hopeless love affair with the theater was pretty much over, except as a spectator sport.
I *always* take my laptop with me when I go on vacation. After all, it contains a significant portion of my brain.
Shipping is fun, but I wouldn't say it's *important*. *scratches head*
The person below me prefers PB & honey to PB & jelly. (I can't stand PB&J, and never have been able to, even as a child; dunno if it's the flavor or the texture or what.)

Mm, false. I like PBJ slightly better than PBH, provided the "J" stands for raspberry jam. The thing I didn't like was plain PB with BUTTERED bread. Dad made it that way. Blech. Mom made it the right way, with nekkid bread.

Mostly false, though I've had a few close calls in avoiding people who do stupid things when they're driving. (For example, I recently narrowly escaped an impact with some idiot who ran a stop sign when I was already halfway through the intersection. Thank goodness I had a great driving instructor; if I hadn't known how to get out of something like that, it probably would've been curtains for me.)

So false. I rather be sick than discuss politics. The most I know really about politics is that I hate Bush and voted for Kerry - the lesser of two evils. Bush is too conservative for my taste.
My laptop is my child. It is my mother's grandchild. And yes, I have told strangers this and they all look at me weird. My mom only smiles when she then gets the strange looks. Though the internet must come with my computer, which is why I keep a dial up AOL account available for use.
The person below me collects books a certain type of book just to collect them. (i.e. I collect Harlequin Blaze though I haven't read any in over two years.) |
