Summary: Hermione faces a danger to her very existence from a source worringly close to home. If she is to survive, compromises must be made in the form of Severus Snape.

This is a WIP and I kind of get the feeling that a beta would need to be available for the long haul for this project.

The story will hopefully be posted on Aswinder in six parts, each of about 20,000. I have only completed part one, but feel that I need a little bit of reassurance that the story is heading in the right direction.
