False.

The only slash fic I've ever read was one the Vaughn wrote ages ago. It's a Snupin fic and really pretty tame.

Definately read AMA, JenKM1216, you will not be sorry. And JackieJHL we will count any fics you've validated.

The person below me wishes Book 7 and Movie 5 weren't coming out at the same time. What can I say, I like to spread out my enjoyment.

True. Entirely too much squeeage for one short period of time. My head might explode.

The person below me ships H/Hr. (And no, I won't think you're crazy--though I rarely will admit it publicly, I ship H/Hr all the way. Wink )

False. I've shipped Harry/Ginny all along, and I was glad to see it develop in HBP.

We don't know the book and movie are coming out at the same time, do we? I assumed the movie release date meant the book would not be out next summer. Snif.

The person below me hopes Percy will redeem himself in a messily fatal way.

True, except for the messy part Smile

I would at least love to see him make up with his family. Sadly, however, I think Percy is going to keep his head firmly up his ass. Rolling Eyes Oh well, here's to wishful thinking.

Sorry Owlbait, but I still wear my P&D badge. (Proud and Delusional) Ginny's feelings were a crush and nothing more. I can't see any of the couples lasting anyway. Seriously how many of us found our one true love at 16? Wink

According to Mugglenet.com sources Book 7 will be out 7/7/07 (Dorky yes, but easy to remember) and OotP will be released on July 13th.

The person below me has either adopted a plot bunny, or has put one up for adoption. Let me know if you want any more.

False, but I did inspire a plot bunny that led to that person putting some others up for adoption. I can't say that I'm in the market for any plot bunnies myself right now, sorry! My eyes are floating in everything I am working on.

As for the canon ships, I really don't see any lasting either. I certainly didn't marry the guy I dated at that age. (Thank God!)

The person below me thinks that Harry will die in book seven.

False! Not only do I seem to remember JKR saying that he survives. But i also think that Harry's death would make the whole story look "illogial".

On the other hand, nothing is as straight forward as we'd like to think so there may still be a chance that Harry does indeed die.

anyway...I think he lives to tell the tale.

And I also believe that the person below me is always happy and has the gift to make people feel good.

False. I'm too cynical to be happy all the time. My humor is dark and morbid and sick and twisted, but it's funny. So, I guess, I can make other people smile, but I'm not happy myself.

The person below me had a previous obsession before switching to HP. If so, what?

False. HP has been my obsession since I got hooked in 1998. It's just gotten worse over the years. Perhaps I should seek therapy Laughing

I don't think Harry will die in the final book; that honor will go to Snape. Crying or Very sad

The person below me has read fanfiction during work hours. Naughty, naughty did you get caughty?

busted...

true, I constantly read at work. But then...I'm a nanny, so I sometimes get bored watching over children who watch TV or play video games.

And before you ask NO I didn't get caught.

The person below me dislikes the HP movies just as much as I do

False. I quite like the movies, but I have to remind myself that the movies are a separate thing from the books, or I do start to get irate. I'm sure I wouldn't have enjoyed GoF if I had read the book recently. They changed SO much... However, it was a cracking good adventure movie, even if it was only barely connected to the book it was based on.

The person below me had a few bad moments after reading HBP, when they thought they had lost their love of the Harry Potter series permanently.

True. I was depressed for weeks and weeks. And then, of course, I got enrolled in the Harry Potter Library class, and with much therapy by Professor Nel, I am once again in love with the series.

I also think Snape is going to die in a messy way. However, I wouldn't put it past Rowling to make Harry a Christ figure. We've had a lot of discussion of this in class, and why she is so keen to avoid talking about religion... aaannnyyywaaay...that's just my opinion.

The person below me cried when Sirius died. (That's far too serious of a statement to rhyme, it shouldn't be allowed.)

False. I am not a Sirius fan. He irritated me. I know, I'm sorry, I'm terrible. Smile

*is not really sorry at all*

The person below me is given this look ---> Shocked by people whenever they bring up Harry Potter.

*snort* True. I even got the eye roll and the "you are such a geek" statement when I bought the Hairy Pawter and the Half-breed tee shirt at the Big Dog store on my way home from Detroit this weekend.

The person below me enjoys listening to Queen.

TRUE!!!

I love Queen! In fact I was listening to them on the way home from work. My only regret is that Freddie Mercury died before I had a chance to see them in concert. Crying or Very sad

The person below me has defended HP to people who think it's 'evil.'

TRUE!!! I did it at church. You should have seen the looks the minister's wife was giving me. *smiles innocently* She is convinced I need to be saved now. I have been baptised three times. I think I'm good.

And I don't want Snape to die. I didn't get depressed after Dumbledore died like so many did, but Snape's death would send me on a downward spiral. I would rather her kill off Ron. Let him sacrifice himself for Harry, but don't take Snape!

And I love Queen, too!

The person below me has children who think that Snape and Hermione really are a couple. (My son does. Wink )
