Story title: Walk Through the Fire (Tentative title)
Summary: It's a Hermione captured by Death Eaters and given to Snape as a present fic, but, I promise, different from all the others. Hermione discovers Stockholm Syndrome. Draco discovers the movies. Harry finally learns to occlude. And Harry and Hermione find out what Dumbledore's rock solid reason for trusting Snape is, and then they find out the real reason.
Rating: Post HBP NC-17 for violence, sex, etc.
Category/Genres: dark fic, angst, war fic, friendship, IC romance, maybe some others I can't think of.
Ship: Hermione/Snape, maybe some others
Warnings: NC-17, dub-con and non-con, torture, death, character death, blood, etc. Maybe some other things I haven't even thought of yet.
I'm looking for a beta who is willing to be in it for the long haul (as it isn't completed yet) and will probably be quite long. I need someone who is willing to call me on any OC-ness, but willing to accept a little of that as I'm not JKR Herself. Also someone who can handle a very dark story line and be will to discuss plot line and character development and will put up with a lot of fandom cliches that I have hopefully worked all together into something new.
I'm not ambitious or anything.
