Hey there, my name is Jules (aka Envinyatar on SH archives, sometimes Envinyatar15) and I'm in search of a beta who'd like to help me with my WIP At Dawn; the first two chaps can be found at Ashwinder (ship is logically HG/SS  ). It's rated R, has HBP spoilers in it and is categorised as drama. I already have a beta, but she does more of grammar and that stuff (which I need very much, for I'm German; grammar is thus not really my strong point). Now I feel a bit cornered with the fic, my attempts at continuing are not as good as I'd like, in my opinion. I don't think it will be long before the end - perhaps another two or three chapters - but I never know what I'll write. ALTHOUGH I have a plot outlined.
I'd like to have someone with strong points in characterization and canon knowledge, and plot continuation. Britpicking isn't that important to me; I prefer American English anyway. Also it'd be great if you'd like to beta everything else I throw your way - e.g. songfics (lyrics are NOT used as dialogue, don't worry), slash fics etc. I mostly write angst and/or drama, one-shots, mostly involving Severus Snape in any way I can think of. Oh yeah, and if you have experience with lemons and can give me many many fic recommendations to read, you'll make me really happy! I'm always in need for a good fic - most pairings acceptable (especially HG/SS, HG/RL, HG/BZ, SS/SB, SS/RL), preferably of the Angst/Drama genre with lemons - and I don't seem to have a knack for writing lemons.
