Beta Experience: I have edited friends' essays and original fiction for years.
Writing Experience: I prefer reading other people's work than my own.
Personal Website: None
Ratings: Any rating at all. I enjoy fluff, but I also adore smut.
Ships: I'm not fussy, but my favourite ships are HG/SS and any fiction with Remus or Sirius, but not necessarily together. I am always looking for new stories and interesting pairings.
Categories/Genres: Go on, surprise me. I will happily read anything.
Strengths as beta reader: I am brilliant at Brit-picking because I am indeed English. I am also excellent at spelling, punctuation and grammar, I do not need a spell checker, so I catch all the "on/one" type of errors too. I have an in-depth knowledge of canon as I read the books constantly to my daughter. I will also pimp your fics for you. I can help you get your fics onto the strict archives, like Ashwinder.
I will also help you to improve your writing by clearly showing you where any mistakes lie. I will explain why I have altered things to help you grow as a writer. I will also give feedback on your work if you want it.
Weakness: I'm rubbish at the American rating system, so I will not be able to help you decide which rating your fic will be. I can be strict (though never harsh) I will insist that spelling and punctuation errors be changed.
Dislikes: I haven't found any yet, feel free to try me.
Any additional notes: I can give you as much or as little support as you want. Just let me know if you want just spelling/grammar/punctuation, or if you want help with characterisation and plot holes. I like to get to know authors I Beta for, so I can also be here just to listen when you need an ear.
My daughter is starting school this week, so I will be left with lots of spare time. I would rather fill my time with Harry Potter fics than washing up. Please help me. |

hello! I desperately need a Beta for my HP fics! Will you be my beta? I'd appreciate it if you would be my beta, seeing as my first beta is currently unavailable.
I think my e-mail is in my contact thing. ANyways......please be my beta!!!!
