Hello Writers
I'm looking to become a beta. I figured that since I read so much of the fiction here at Sycophant Hex, I might as well help someone else while I read.
I am an avid reader of the Harry Potter books and am well versed in its characters and universe. However I am an American, and on that front will be no help with britisms. Snogging, jumper, bloody, and wicked are the extent of my british expressions knowledge. I am basically here to check spelling, grammar, and to make sure that some crazy plot demon hasn't run amuck in your story.
I am interested in reading Snape/Hermione and Draco/Hermione romance/angst fictions. However I am not interested in reading fics in which Snape or Draco have magically become prince charming. That is not who they are, and in my opinion they are much better characters in all of their snarky glory.
As for rating, I'm pretty much open to anything although I don't like slash fiction. As for length, once again I am open to anything.
So if you need a beta give me a ring (well, e-mail actually) and I will be happy to oblige.
Also if you want to see my own writing skills I have an original fic posted on fictionpress.com called "Waltzing with Disaster" which is located in the romance section.
