Story title: The Properties of Silver
Summary: Prompted in part by a fleeting, foolish crush back at the end of her fourth year, Hermione assists the Order in an experimental charm meant to protect Severus Snape as he resumes his role as double agent. Six years after the war's end, it appears the charm has a few unexpected consequences...even though Snape's long dead.
Rating: Suggestive at first, graduating to Wanton and perhaps even Lacivious once Hermione and Severus are, respectively, of age and back from the dead.

Special Requests/Other: I've got a cannon compliant story nearly finished on Ashwinder (That Language He Has Never Spoken) but as this is my first toe in the AU ocean, I'm nervous about logic, plot holes, and general descent into unreadable goofiness. Help with spelling, grammar and reminders about when one italicizes spells, when one does or does not capitalize "magic," and other cannon details would also be much appreciated. I'm dyslexic, so typos are the bane of my writing attempts, though I will, of course, try to make whatever draft I send your way as perfect as possible. Whatever help you're free to lend, would be more than welcome.
Another minor warning: I'm hoping to make Ron a sometimes misguided but generally a nice guy and true friend in this fic, rather than dead/gay/philandering/Quiddich-mad/anything to get him out of the good ship SS/HG's way. I know he's not a favorite of many on Ashwinder, so if you're opposed to a decent Ron (and non-shrewish Molly, for that matter) as a reader, this story may not be much fun for you as a beta.
