I'm looking for a story where Hermione and Snape are engaged/married -- possibly loosly based on the Marriage Law Challenge.
I don't remember much, but Snape is pureblood -- and from a very old and long pure-blood family.
At some point they travel to Alexandria to meet with Severus Egyptian (Great-Great?) Grandmother, and spend time at her house -- where Severus actually grew up.
They also visits the "lost" Great Library, that (I think) is under water but protected by magic. Here they stop a sabotage attempt. (Actually, this referance may be me mixing in the content of another story -- possibly with a "Super-Harry"... if I have, and you know the title of *that* story, please share as I've forgotten it's title and location.)
I believe Hermione is pregnant while they visit Snape's grandmother.
If you know the title and where I can read it, please tell me. I never finished it, and it's 6+ months since I read it. |

I think you might be looking for "Tyger Tyger." In it, Snape's grandmother is Egyptian and they visit her while Hermione is pregnant. I don't recognize the part about the underwater library, though...

| The bit about the underwater library might have come from another SS/HG fic where they visit Egypt—Surrender, by Dryad. |
