01. When posting a fic search, it is highly recommend that your post title contain a character summary (i.e SS/SB), whether it's gen/femmeslash/slash/het, and a very short keyword summary (Hogwarts, Quidditch Pitch).
Sample: SS & HG (gen), Queerditch, library, fire.

02. If you are not sure of the characters or category, use a question mark.
Sample: ? (?), Grimmauld Place, portkey, kidnapped.

03. If you are posting a general search (i.e. you want recs for favourite Time Turner fics), start your post title with 'General:', then add in the fic search keywords.
Sample: General: Time Turner fics!

If you do not follow these guidelines, your post will be edited.

Go into as much additional detail as you want in the post itself, but keep your post titles clear and concise.

By putting some detail into your title and not just a vague 'help me pls', it will be easier for people in the know to see your post and find your story, or see if someone else has already searched for that particular story.
