What is the preferred method for an author to make massive changes to a story that has already been posted? Specifically, I have fourteen chapters posted and I rewrote the story-- not just minor editing. The new chapters bear little resemblence to the old ones in many cases.
Should I just edit the existing chapters and post the new ones on top of them? Should I remove the entire story and send each individual chapter back through the validation process? Should I delete all but one chapter and leave the story there, but send the remaining chapters back through the validation process? |

Hi Razzberry,
Sorry for the delay in answering your question. We needed to come up with an answer.
It would be best to delete all the chapters and repost that way. This would also garner more attention to the newly rewritten story. Make sure to copy/paste all your previous reviews too so you have them for memory's sake if you like that kind of thing. I know most authors do. I sure do.
Thanks for asking us. |
