SPOILER: Last night I was re reading some different key parts of the Half Blood Prince. At the beginning when Snape is speaking with Narcissa and Bellatrix...when he says that he thinks it's expected of him to do it in the end (I'm not going to quote from it). Then at the end when Dumbledore is saying Please....could it be possible that Snape didn't fully mean Voldemort meant for him to carry out Draco's mission? That Snape could have meant Dumbledore instead? Okay, just a thought.
Also, I think the Please from Dumbledore to Snape was because he didn't want Draco to tarnish his soul. He had said that he was basically still innocent. |
