Okay, I can find my way round a computer, but the whole HTML tag thing is a little beyond my understanding. I can tell that <i> means italic and so on, but how exactly to use them, for example, when uploading a story? You see, I write using MSWord, and I want my spells to be in italics. How do the HTML tags work and how do I use them?
I couldn't find this question in a FAQ so any help from anyone would be grand. *points at herself* techno-idiot!
cheers

Pipedreamer...
For basic HTML coding for the story...
italic to quit using italic
bold to quit bold
underline to quit underline
<center> to center what your writing </center> to quit
<hr> to create a solid line, some authors use it before author notes and between scenes </hr> to quit
This are pretty much all that Sychophant Hex allows I believe. You will want to remember to put in the / () so that it stops doing that particular thing.
Hope this helps. |

Grrr that was supposed to be < i> and < /i> without the spaces for italic, < b> and < /b> bold, < u> and < /u>underline. |
