I'm in need of a reliable beta-reader: definitely someone who knows English style and grammar, preferably someone who owns and uses Strunk & White's The Elements of Style.

Summary: Somewhat AU, starts in November during the “Prisoner of Azkaban”. Dumbledore asks a former student to help detect and catch the murderer Sirius Black before he can harm anyone. As events unfold, the past is slowly revealed.
Rating: basically PG with some R
Category/Genres: drama, mystery, romance
Ship: Lupin/OFC (eventually)
Warnings: R-rated adult scenes in the future.
I want someone to point out anything that might be problematic – grammar/spelling, plot, characterization, wildly non-canon no-nos, overly sophomoric angst... I want someone who will be brutal!
I’m a student, so my schedule varies wildly from week to week. The story will be very long, both in terms of physical length and time. I have quite a bit plotted out and some scenes drafted.
As far as adult scenes, I consider mine R, though I’m sure others might call them NC-17. Pretty much straightforward het in my opinion. |
