First I'd like to say a couple of things. In the short span of time that I have been lurking about on Sycophant Hex, it has definitely warranted my respect as well as my admiration. I want to give this beta thing a shot because I have never done it before, and also because I only want my best work submitted for such an excellent place as this. Please do not think I am trying to kiss up - I am being very honest.
That said, I'd also like to add that I have been writing fanfiction for a few years now, and that I'm not absolutely dreadful, hehe! However, this will be my first HP fic, and I will admit that I'm still very new to the HP universe. I love it so much though!
What I think I will need help the most on is British lingo and characterization. However, the beta is welcome to throw in any helpful comments as we trudge along. This will be a learning experience for me! I can't wait! 
So, now on to the story info, I think. I'm going to take this off the Web Mistress's last post, because I thought that was a good outline.

Story Title: In Perfect Trust
Summary: Set after the Goblet of Fire, the Order of the Phoenix is brought back to fight the Dark Lord, and a former student returns to help. Selena's whole life is in for a rude awakening in the dark form of Severus Snape.

Obviously, this story is still in the fixings. I have a prologue and chapter one written. I'm not sure how fast I will be writing, seeing as I'm in college and that keeps me busy, but if my muse stays around it will probably go at a moderate pace. Not sure how long it will be either, but I tend to go far if the muse sticks around.
