| Alright, this might be a bit of a stupid question, but I really don't know it. I have deducted from the first HP book that from Little Whinging to London it's a three hour drive. Now is the question, how far is that in miles? Many thanks to anyone who could answer this question for me. |

| as far as I can remember Little W. is in Surrey which is relatively close to London. I'd say no more than 40 miles (please anyone correct me if I'm wrong), and taking into account the traffic in central London... YES it can take 3 hours |

| It is in Surrey. In the first book it said that Harry got up at five and two hours later the suitcases were put in the car. After a lot of talking (which I estimated half an hour) they got Dudley into the car next to Harry. So, they would have left at seven thirty. They were in Londen at ten thirty, so that's three hours. So forty miles sounds reasonable, I guess. |
