The first 6 chapters of this story have been posted in the Chaos archive. I encourage all of you to read it.
Summary:Patrick Thatcher isn’t like most other kids. He doesn’t ride a bus to school, he doesn’t send letters by “Muggle post”, nor does he ride in a car when his parents take him to buy his school things.
He does however have a caring family, his mother and father, and his pesky brother, Paul – a typical taunting teenager. Along with his grandfather, a much celebrated figure in Patrick’s world.
When an unusual occurrence threatens the one thing Patrick cherishes most: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place – one that is sure to entrance the reader – he is catapulted into a strange new adventure.
Not only will magic meet him around every corner, but friendship, flying sports, a world of history, and an adventure to spark a tale about a boy destined for greatness.
It's an original fic in the US, separate from HP, but it (of course) will be using the same foundation of the Wizarding World. |
