I've read lots of marriage law fictions on Ashwinder. This one,
I never got around to actually reading, but I browsed through
some chapters. I was hoping someone could help, so I don't
have to read *all* the Marriage Law fics. Oh yes, I may have
mixed together two stories (but I think not).

As usual, Hermione is put on the market and is in danger of
getting married-off to someone bad. Snape (finally) agrees
to help, and they both enter into an engagement/marriage
they both believe to be purely pro-forma.

But during (I think) a couple of days, Hermione start to feel
more and more sick. At (I think) breakfast one day, she has
cramps and decide to return to her room. Snape and/or
Dumbledore finally learns this, and when they find her,
Hermione is very ill. Dumbledore then breaks it to the couple
that there is a compulsion forcing the married-couple together
(if you get my drift), that if ignored, is as painful and dangerous
as the curico-curse.

I think also Snape was affected, but hadn't thought more
about the pain... (although I seem to remember a fic where
Snape ended-up half-dead from pain also...)

+++

So if anyone knows the name of a ML-fic where some spell
they (or at least Hermione) was unaware of makes Hermione
(or Snape) seriously ill and/or a story where Dumbledore
(or Snape) breaks the news of some bind to Hermione after
it's too late; I would very much like to know the title.
