In this story, Snape and Hermione have a slow friendship building through canon. The only specific scene I can remember is: Snape and Hermione are at the apothecary in Hogsmeade and Snape tells Hermione that murtlap will help with the wounds from Umbridge's blood quill. I think I read it within the last year, but that doesn't mean the story is necessarily new. I read most of my stories at Ashwinder and The Petulant Poetess.

Sadly, it hasn't been updated for three years, but the author says that she never abandons her stories, so I'm hopeful that it will be updated someday. *sigh* |

| I have this fic as a favorite story on Ashwinder, so I can keep track of it easier, and I am hoping it gets updated soon and her other fic "Tying Knots". On TPP her lasted update was 06/04/2010 with the "Trying Knots" fic, so the author hasnt completly abandoned that fic yet. So there is a small window of hope that the author will one day update both fics, though I do doubt it. It will be sad if they don't. |

| Tying Knots has more chapters on Ashwinder than it does on TPP, or it did the last time I checked. My guess is that she (?) was just getting TPP caught up to Ashwinder. |
