| it's been bugging me for a long time. the story is where ss has a bird familiar that helps him with spying. the bird has an opera name i think. and it along with crookshanks help hermione learn to spy for snape. i think in the very end the bird dies or something and ss&hg names their kid after it. can someone tell me what it's called and where to find it? thanks. |

thanks rodasons but that isn't the story i'm looking for.
the bird wasn't a relative of snape's. it was a real bird, not an animagus. it's name started with a t i think. it might or might not be tosca, i'm not sure. snape is an animagus and he's also a bird (the same kind as his familiar i think).
also i think crookshanks and the snape's bird familiar know each other but a kinda snooty to each other, but they're the ones who get hermione to help snape. i think hermione is also a bird animagus, but i'm not sure about that.
i'm trying to think of anything more but that's pretty much all i can come up with.
