So far as I know, this writer is new on the scene. However, there's nothing new about the writing which is polished and accomplished.

Two chapters have been posted of this intriguing new fic, which can be read here:

It's shaping up to be a real story. Set after the defeat of Voldemort, Hermione is investigating the sudden arrest of her parents on what appear to be trumped up charges.

The author freely admits to being something of a Dickens geek, and there is a nice style reminiscent of that way of telling a story.

What's really delightful is I have not got a clue what is going to happen, but clearly it's a story led tale (thank god, good story at last!) and I shall be following it.

I read this and totally agree with you. It is extremely interesting so far and I can't even hazard a guess as to what is going to happen.

The story seems to have been removed. It was updated a few days ago, I've no idea why she took it down.

Sad. I hope she decides to upload again.

If it is any consolation I hate it when that happens, but assume the writer has her own and valid reasons for it.

(supports good writers everywhere)
