Title: All the Wrong Reasons.
Ship: Severus Snape/ Origional Character.
Genre: Angst, romance, drama
Rating: PG-13.
Warnings: Mild sex and torture scenes, rape, death and some swearing.
Length: Eight chapters each averaging about 1500 words.
Summary: Why did Snape become a spy for The Odrer of the Phoenix? Begins in his sixth year, finishes when he joins the order about 5-10 years later.
Extras: Mostly I need a Beta for punctuation, so if you're a comma nazi I NEED YOU! Any comments on plot, characterization etc will be appreciated and taken into account.
My OC does play a large roll in the plot, so I may need you to make sure she isn't too Mary-Sueish.
I'm not particularly worried about how long you take, just get it back to me as soon as you can.
I use MS Word.
If it is published I would like to give credit to my Beta.
Notes: This story is completed all it needs is you to go through and pick out all the things I did wrong.
I don't expect you to do it all at once, I want to go through each chapter individually and submit them as they finish being Beta-ed.
I will post as soon as a suitable Beta is found.
Excerpt: Quote: “Listen up all you sixth years. I have decided on a little experiment,” shouted Professor Horace Slughorn. “As sixth years, you know how hard it is to choose your subjects for your last two years here at Hogwarts, so I have arranged to have all those considering potions for next year to join us today.” He gestured and the door to the potions laboratory flew open to admit about twenty fifth years.
Severus frowned ‘this is not going to end well’, he thought as he watched them file past him to stand along the wall.
Slughorn coughed. “Now, you will notice you are exactly even in number, so I will have you sixth years choose a partner from the fifth years.”
‘Merlins balls’ thought Severus, ‘trust Slughorn’. As the other members of his class milled around finding themselves a partner he sat back and watched, hoping against hope that Slughorn had miscounted.
