Okay. I need to find this story. I was in the middle of reading it when the old Ashwinder site was deleted.
In the first chapter, Dumbledore goes back in time and arranges with his older self to prepare for Hermione to go back in time. The old Dumbledore explains that Lily Evans has left her post as Head Girl, in which Hermione will be filling.
Next, in the second or third chapter, Hermione is asked by the Headmaster to go help Severus with some potions for Madam Pomfrey. When she goes into his room, she sees him bent over his pensieve muttering things such as "why did you do this" or whatnot. When he notices Hermione's presence, he tells her to get out, and raises his voice. Then he takes fifty points from Gryffindor.
Hermione returns to the Headmaster. Dumbledore then explains his time travel plan. She will go back in time, be a confident for Severus Snape, and prevent him from getting the mark and joining Voldemort. She will not be able to return to her old life.
This is where I left off. Please help! I am desperate. |

The worst it can happen is that you'd have to wait until MM puts the old archive back for a bit more. She said she'll do it so we can finish checking our favorite lists.
You should be reading in the new archive, tho... the old ones weren't going to stay up for long. |
