This is what I remember from this time turner fanfic.
The "Light" side has lost the battle at Hogwarts, almost everyone is dead.
Snape and Hermione somehow manage to survive, and they barricade themselves in his chambers.
He gives her a special Time Turner and they somehow form this mental connection that can be maintained across twenty some-odd years.
Snape and Hermione decide on her name being Mia Thyme, Mia because that's what Harry and Ron called her and Thyme because it, obviously, sounds like "Time".
Whenever Hermione makes a wrong choice in the day, she re-lives that day until she gets it right.
She becomes a "transfer student" from another Wizarding school along with twin girls, and when they put the Sorting Hat on, she chooses Gryffindor the first time around.
That was a wrong choice, so then she tries Slytherin.
Another wrong choice.
When she finally chooses Ravenclaw, it's the right choice, and the story continues.
Now, I don't remember the next order of things, but I know that Adult Snape was wounded in the final battle, and he dies after the first few days/weeks.
When that happens, Hermione gets drunk with Lily Evans because her "Uncle Sebastian" died.
Let's see...
Young Snape brews her a headache potion the next morning (I forget how he runs into her) and I think that's when she tells him where she's from and everything (I remember that she bet him he couldn't make the potion taste like strawberries and he won.)
But that was a mistake, so she repeats the day.
One more thing I remember is that Snape himself, a few years or so beforehand, used a time turner to teach at Hogwarts the same year(s) he went to school there, or something like that, but that's when I lost the link.
I know I read the fanfic on ff.net, but I can't remember its name or anything.
