Allo! I was recommended to start posting here for chapter updates for mine and LFire's SS/OFC story, A Place Called Home over on Occlumency.
So...here I am! Heh...Well since Parts One and Two are already complete and up...let's start over at Part Three!
Right, chapter ten just posted tonight. Here's the blurb:

Summary for Story: Determined to be together, Snape and Celene's passionate and steamy relationship begins in earnest, shrouded in the necessity of secrecy and deception. However, the closer they grow, the more apparent it becomes that there are even more potential pitfalls in store than even they considered; as danger manifests itself in the shape not only of malevolent outside forces, but from deep within, as more and more strange events begin to occur around them.

It's short...but wraps up Chapter Ten's little problem, before we head out to Chapter Twelve.
Chapter Eleven: Cleaning House
Summary: When it is clear that Celene has retained copies of his worst memories, Snape must find a way to remove them before they cause further damage.

Chapter Thirteen has now been validated and is fresh and brand spanking new on Occlumency!
That said...please don't go by the summary for this chapter that is posted...I'm not entirely happy with it, but it needed one...so there you go.
And yes...this week offers some ripe lemons...oh, and a heaping
helping of plot (well...one of them...we haven't forgotten dear sweet Voldemort).

After two weeks, and us being way too caught up in other things...we are now back!
Yup...and don't make me break out in to Eminem...cuz I will...snicker!
Okay, the news I know you are all dying to hear!
Chapter Fourteen is up on Occlumency!
Yea!!!!!
And now the official word...
Chapter Fourteen: Come Into My World
Summary: Snape gets a literal crash course in Muggle nights on the town with some unexpected side effects. Meanwhile, his lover shows to have a more Slytherin side than he ever expected.
And yes...it ends on a cliffie...sorry! I am at any rate...LFire has stated that for the record...she's not. (Bad co-writer! Bad, Bad Co-writer!)
That said, we'll try and get the next chapter out on time, so as to ease any issues or need to throw produce at us.

Right...time to promote (as is my function) the latest and slightly resolvingest chapter of A Place Called Home: A Sorta Fairytale on Occlumency.
Ah...school's almost back in session...our duo have been on quite the little date in Muggledom...and now after nearly blowing both the world of magic and his own relationship's cover, Snape must now deal with his irate gal pal...except...she's not quite as irate as she should be...
Now that's a much better summary than I put for the chapter when I posted...heh...
But here it is:
Chapter Fifteen: Betwixt, Between, and Befuddled
Summary: After their near exposure, Snape and Celene are again left to try and understand this latest and strangest turn of events.
Intregued? You know you are...don't make me get the pocket watch to hypnotize you! Heh...

Hey there!
Just the weekly pimp for the latest chapter of A Place Called Home: A Sorta Fairytale.
Chapter Seventeen: Silent Night...A twas the night before all the students return, and all through the castle, not a creature was stirring...except Snape and his...um...well, you get the picture.
The trio is back, some teachers are back, but Snape and Celene are, despite broken hands, enjoying their last night of peace and moderate quiet.
There are serious thoughts...some not so serious thoughts...some loss of thought...and Snape gets um...marked.
Enjoy! And please feel free to review!

As a recap...
The Summary: Snape's birthday is shaping up to be a disaster, as usual...until Celene decides to rectify the matter.
Chapter Twenty will be posted tonight! Titled "Are You Now, Or Have You Ever Been..." should hopefully get validated within the next couple of days...keep fingers crossed. Will Hermione give Snape (as Charlie) her seal of approval...will Harry reveal why he is so fascinated with the couch cushions...will Snape be able to get through his 'interrogation' without AKing Hermone? All will be revealed! |

Hello all!!!
Just a quick note to let you know that Chapter Twenty, titled "Are You Now, or Have You Ever Been..." is now up for your enjoyment and reading pleasure on Occlumency!
Word of warning...it's a mammoth chapter...and I heartily apologize! I honestly tried to make it smaller! Anywhoo...enjoy it! Next ones are
shorter...heh.
Right...the official blurb: During Saturday morning tea, Hermione interrogates her aunt's new boyfriend, unaware that it is in fact her potions teacher she is grilling.
In this chapter, Hermione shows her protective side, Ron makes a mess, and Harry shows avid interest in Celene's couch cushions...as well as, Snape ensuring Celene recompenses him for his time...and relative
patience.
Chapter Twenty-One will be up in a day or so, depending on the cue. Until then, hugs to all!

Yes...I know we just put out that rather monster sized chapter, but the plot will no longer be contained...and our plot bunnies are in overdrive.

I know we've been popping up rapidly with the updates...but hey...we've been frisky! Like little hamsters on wheels! It's scarey really...even been hankering for sunflower seeds...

Right well, as you can all see now over on Occlumency, Chapter Twenty-two, Let Reading Potions Masters Lie, is now up for your reading (and hopefully reviewing) leisure. Yes...pleasure review...I'm not above begging...and not that proud...*gives over dramatic puppy dog eyes*

Just fresh from spoiling myself silly on Revenge of the Sith...yup...read the novelization. Sigh...why oh why am I such a spoiler hound?!

Heh...excuse the sillies as I've been tracking down my entire academic career today to start the putting together of my portfolio for my diploma. *Gulps loudly*
However, I am taking a quick break to let everyone know, as is my way, that Chapter Twenty-Four of A Place Called Home: A Sorta Fairytale is now up for your parusal and reviewing pleasure on Occlumency.
Chapter Twenty-Four, titled The Power of Suggestion, finds our Potions master just returning home from a long overnight meeting of the pesky Death Eater persuasion, only to remember that not only is he dashing about all day trying to get everything teacherwise he needs to get done, but must co-supervise dueling club that evening with Professor McGonagal...and a rather attractive Muggle Studies teacher. Needless to say hijinx ensue...
So with that I leave you to enjoy, and also, shortly as a side note, Chapter One of our Sherlock Holmes follow up to A Forfeit Daughter will be up (it's pending on validation on Chaos). It is titled An Unforseen Occurrence, and here is the story summary: "A waylaid train and a chance encounter sets in motion a series of events in the lives of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson...events which lead the life of one consulting detective on a path to the most unforseen occurance of them all."
The next Sorta chapter will not be updated till the end of the week, due to RL for me...so enjoy these bits.

Hello all!
Because the folks over at Occlumency were so zippy (and I really didn't expect this to get validated till Saturday at the earliest)...we here at aerynfire are pleased to present Chapter Twenty-Five...the rather
plot laden chapter!
Yup...we're really back into the plot...why? Cuz Dumbledore's office has been broken into! Yes! And oddly, neither he nor Fawkes was at home...*scratches chin*. Why...perhaps it's An Inside Job? (looks happily that she got the chapter title in there so smoothly)
Anywhoo...enjoy and please review (the plot bunnies are plotting hostile takeovers...really...its not pretty...scarey really...). We love hearing from you!

And the snippet...
Melding his black clad figure with the shadows that enveloped almost all of Hogwarts corridors in the hours after curfew, Snape awaited the owner of the rapid footfalls approaching him in the upper corridor. It was a Wednesday night, and, having completed his sweep of the school, he had been allowing himself the luxury of mentally readying himself for a late night return to his room, and consequently his sleeping lover, when he had first heard the footsteps.
.......
While the footfalls grew louder, he noted to himself that this was the first time that he had caught anyone else in the vicinity, and so he waited quietly. With virtually no light up there for the good reason that no one was supposed to be up there, all he could go on was the sound of the closing footsteps and some slight sense of movement. He waited, slowing his breathing and focusing his eyes and mind, waiting for the optimum moment to strike like a cobra from his hiding place.
Two breaths later, his hand flashed out and caught the collar of the passing figure, spinning them around while his wand, which was in his other hand raised high above them, flared into life, illuminating the area and his latest victim. |
