I feel a tad bit like I'm cheating on my beta, but here goes...

My beta has apparently been hijacked by Real Life (a dead computer, huge family emergency, or something to that effect) and I haven't heard from her in a while. I'm looking for a temporary beta for two chapters of my WIP. I've got 6 chapters up at Ashwinder if you would like to take a peek to see if you would be interested in working with me. And if it ends up you want to stay on as a beta for the long haul, I have no objection to that, either.

Here is my original posting:

Name: Wonderful Child
Email: marsaillez@yahoo.com
Story title: Walk Through the Fire
Summary: "Severus Snape has proved his loyalty beyond a doubt and Voldemort chooses a most perfect reward - but Bellatrix LeStrange has other plans..." It's a Hermione captured by Death Eaters and given to Snape as a present fic, and I will admit, full of fandom cliches which I have tried to work into something new. It's mainly Hermione and Snape at first, but the plot widens later on to include other characters. The prologue is posted at Ashwinder if you want to read it.
Rating: Post HBP NC-17 for violence, sex, adult situations etc. I expect there will be squickiness ahead.
Category/Genres: dark fic, angst, war fic, friendship, IC romance, maybe some others I can't think of.
Ship: Hermione/Snape, some others later.
Warnings: NC-17, dub-con and non-con, torture, death, suicide attempts, character death, blood, general unpleasantness.

I'm looking for a beta who is willing to be in it for the long haul (as it isn't completed yet) and will probably be quite long. I need someone who is willing to call me on cannon mistakes and any OC-ness, but willing to accept a little of that as I'm not JKR Herself. Also someone who can handle a very dark story line and be will to discuss plot line and character development and is willing to have an open mind about fandom cliches. An eye for punctuation mistakes is needed. An eye for grammar or spelling mistakes would be helpful too, but is not a requirement.
