Name: Twisted (Kat)
Email: anemic.equine@gmail.com
Story title: The Mercy Seat (Working Title, probably gonna change)
Summary: It's been a bad year for a great many people. Harry Potter is realizing that Severus Snape is not quite the git he believed, and that nothing--not even death--should be taken for granted.
Rating: R / possible NC-17
Category/Genres: Drama, black comedy, romance, angst for good measure
Ship: SS/OC
Warnings: HBP Spoilers. Possibly sex and violence later in the story; solidly an R rating and possibly NC-17 depending on my mood when I write it.
Since I understand there are a lot of people looking for Betas I thought I'd include a sample of the story to see if you like how I write. I'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to voice their opinions of my work and doesn't mind if I don't have chapters regularly (Just like I don't care if it takes you however long it takes you to edit/read-over). Hardcore thanks to anyone who replies.
Quote: Deep breath, don't forget to exhale. Repeat from step one.
There were three hundred and twenty seven different cracks on the faded plastered ceiling; Harry knew this for a fact since he'd counted several times until he got the same final answer twice. He was on the verge of counting again.Laying back on his bed, he stared blankly upwards and done what he had done for the past few weeks: ponder the future. There had been nothing in his head though he had the feeling that that had less to do with his own skills of occlumency and more with Voldemort getting bored of Harry only staring at his ceiling and counting the cracks there.
Harry frowned...three hundred and twenty-two? Bugger.
