I don't know whether this is the right topic or not, but does anybody know what happened to the Place called home series? They promised an update soon and than it vanished entirely. Did something happen to the authors?

Oh man...um...Hi! No, we didn't vanish. *Looks down and scuffs foot on ground* We pulled the story. And you are actually not the first to ask where it went.
After the release of HBP we considered keeping it going (as it was now AU) and though we tried to...the muse went and left us. So rather than leaving it half done...we took it down. It wasn't an easy decision to make, as it was our first fic and hold that special place in our hearts for it...but it was the best decision we could come up with. It may return someday...as we can see lots of places to edit it up - expand on some things...tighten others...but not for a long, long time.
We are starting a new fic instead, and have been 'test driving' it, if you will with a couple of one shots. Those are available in Occlumency. We hope you will give that a try instead.
Again, thank you so much for reading Place and being such a devoted reviewer...it really, really meant a lot to us. Hope to see you for the new one.
