I have a story posted, called "Trust". The first three chapters of this are located here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2380

(Not trying to "pimp my story", just want the links easily accessible...feel free to edit or move this off the board)

Chapter 1, which is *not* listed separately, can be found here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2383&i=1

Chapter 2, which *is* listed separately, can be found here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2383

AND here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2383&i=1

Chapter 3, which is also listed separately, can similarly be found here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2384

and here:

http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2384&i=1

Further, when I search on my author name here (http://lumos.sycophanthex.com/search.php), the chapters list out of sequence (main story, then "sub chapter" 3, then "sub chapter" 2) but when I search on the fic name in the same place, only the main story itself comes up. And the subchapters aren't listed as having a word-count. (Not that I particularly care but that strikes me as strange.)

Am I correct in assuming that the word count posted for the main story is the cumulative count (as opposed to just for the first chapter?)

I'm *quite* certain this has something to do with me having done something wrong, but what that thing is, I have no idea.

Further, I happened not to have gotten the message that chapters 2 & 3 were posted (I'm sure that's an "issue" on my recieving mail server end), but as they appear to be viewable, I'm going to upload chapter 4. (It's short).

Can someone tell me what I did wrong here?

Question

Thanks!

cmwinters,

From what I understand about your question concerning "sub chapters", no you did nothing wrong. That's how eFiction works.
