I really liked the discussion about a magical society in America, and came up with this...

Challenge: Create a magical society within America, and introduce a canon character of your choice into it.

Rules:
1) You must explain how American wizarding society differs from British.
2) You must explain why the character you have chosen is in America. (No “One day Hermione woke up to find herself in Salem, Massachusetts, with no idea why”)
3) Three types of magic must be discussed. One of these types may be what we are familiar with from canon.
4) Create an entire magical world – while you are welcome to focus on one or two locations (A small village, for example), please describe the government and organization of the society.
5) Pureblood/Muggle-born distinction is not allowed.
