Often I find that I really like a story and want to review. It is often just a note to say the story was great. I didn't see any mistakes, nor do I feel I could contribute any advice.
Is this appropriate? Do writers like getting these kind of notes?
When I finally get enough nerve to post, I would hope I get these kind of reviews.
There are many times I would like to rate the story, but to do this I have to actually write something in the review box. Bummer.
'Tis my dilemma.

Sure authors like to receive reviews like that but try to expand on it. What did you like the most? The plot, the way the charaters are desribed or interact? Let the authors know what their strong points are perhaps even mentioning certain parts of the plot are great or some areas could use improvement on. |
