| I'm going to give the Salem school a passing mention in my fic and I'd like to give a proper acknowledgement in the A/Ns to the author who came up with it first. Does anybody know who the mysterious person is? |

| The earliest story written where I saw it was in Ladyofthemasque's For Someone Special. I don't know if she came up with it first though. You could ask her. |

| The Salem Witches' Institute (alternatively known as the Salem Institute of Magic) is canon. It's mentioned in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as some of the members attended the Quidditch World cup. |
