So in the story, I think there was a staff meeting and Mcgonagall mentioned that Hermione might be tempted by the Dark Arts. The fact that she summoned her followers in the DA with a heated false galleon was compared to the way that Voldemort summoned his Death Eaters with the burning Dark Mark.
