Does anyone know the date of the Occlumency lesson where Harry looked into the Pensieve without Snape's permission and Snape threw him out of his office? All I can see is that it's sometime in early April 1996. Needed for a story in progress.
Thanks

The Harry Potter Lexicon places Harry's last Occlumency lesson on March 31, as far as I can tell. (A friend has borrowed my copy of OOtP—otherwise, I'd have double-checked that.)

The book doesn't actually list a date for Harry's last lesson, though you get the feeling it's towards the beginning of spring.

Thanks for these replies. As the book doesn't give an exact date, would it be acceptable in a fic, for me to pick a likely date for use in a character's diary? Celisnebula - as a moderator perhaps you could tell me?

Thanks!

LOL that's the wonderful thing about fan fiction... you can take all the ambiguous details and set them in whatever manner you wish.
