Does anyone know the date of the Occlumency lesson where Harry looked into the Pensieve without Snape's permission and Snape threw him out of his office? All I can see is that it's sometime in early April 1996. Needed for a story in progress.

| The Harry Potter Lexicon places Harry's last Occlumency lesson on March 31, as far as I can tell. (A friend has borrowed my copy of OOtP—otherwise, I'd have double-checked that.) |

Thanks for these replies. As the book doesn't give an exact date, would it be acceptable in a fic, for me to pick a likely date for use in a character's diary? Celisnebula - as a moderator perhaps you could tell me?
