It's a 10-chapter fic detailing the choices Snape made after he left Hogwarts as a young man. So, getting his first job, reconnecting with his gang of Slytherins, getting a tattoo, making illicit potions in the kitchen, overhearing a prophecy...the usual. It explores why he did what he did, without quite answering the question of whose side he's really on. Lucius Malfoy has a prominent role. Some violence, including torture (my main characters are all Death Eaters, after all!), but no sex beyond a kiss or two.

Currently, 6 chapters are posted, and I hope to add the remaining ones over the next month or so. I'd love to read reviews, so let me know what you think!
