Very simple request . . .

I need to know how ice cream comes packaged in the UK.

In the US it comes mostly in pints, quarts, gallons, and 5 gallons.

What would be the UK equivilant to a pint and a gallon? or at least the nearest equivilant?

Ice Cream is sold in litres over here. Half a litre is equivilant (roughly) to a pint. Hope that helps.

ben & jerrys, haagen-dazs etc. tend to come in 500ml pots - a good size to sit down with and eat til you puke if you're feeling down Smile
